About St. Joseph Catholic School

Testimonials

Ms. Broderick, Congrats on another great performance, the entire cast did fantastic. I couldn’t believe they were middle school students. It was also a great experience for Chloe; something she will never forget.  Thanks again for all of your efforts!

My daughter has learned many wonderful good traits from the character development she has received at St. Joes which I am so thankful because I know that will carry her in life as well as her future.  Thanks!”
Kerry Conboy, Parent 2010

I can not wait to share your kind words regarding my daughter.  I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming.  I can not thank you and others at St. Josephs for helping me to guide her.  It has always just been the two of us and I have always tried to instill strong confidence and integrity....The next few years will be interesting but I think her foundation is strong.”

I just wanted to sincerely thank you and your staff for helping make this “new school transition” an extremely easy one.  My kids are loving St. Joe’s school… and, even more amazing, they are saying they “love” subjects they’ve strongly disliked in the past (i.e. spanish, science and math).  Obviously, these teachers (6th grade in particular) are really making these subjects enjoyable to learn.

I am extremely impressed with many aspects of the school… such as constant communication via email, teacher’s innovative teaching methods (i.e. 6th grade social studies using balloons to draw the globe), the use of numerous computer aided programs for homework and tests, and even the efficiency of your car line… just naming a few.

I am thrilled that we finally made the change and now am just wish we might had made it sooner.  Again, thank you for all you have done… my kids have been impressed that “the principal” is so involved in everyday operations… i.e. lunch duty and substituting for spanish.  In addition to the teachers, you have made them feel very welcome… so thank you.  It’s truly been a wonderful first two weeks.”

Good Morning!  I read the class information as you requested. It sounds like a wonderful year. Sarah will love it.  When we went through RCIA the Deacon always took Sarah’s questions first, since they were always the toughest.  Good luck!  She loved the first assignment and wrote the paper in no time flat last night.  She likes Catholic school and says “it makes me want to be a better person”.  How could a parent ask for anything more?”

Do you have a teacher that actually makes you want to go to school?  That teacher for me is Ms. Daley.  She is the most inspirational teacher I will ever have.  She is my English and literature teacher.  Ms. Daley will always strive to find the best of you.  She teaches my entire class and me to the best of her ability.  She keeps you motivated to always do your best.  She will encourage you to keep going, and she never stops.

Ms. Daley teaches me English, and I always understand it.  When she teaches, she makes sure that each and every one of us understands the topic.  She inspires me to do better, and I keep going because she shows me that there is no end to my ability.  She makes learning fun, and that is how it stays in my head.  She makes hard tests, but that makes me study harder and keep persevering.  In literature, we read a lot of novels or short stories.  Reading with Ms. Daley motivates me to read more books. Most of the books we read in class are books that I never thought I would pick up, but I always enjoy them.  She always teaches me as best as she can.

Ms. Daley always wants the best for you.  She inspires me everyday to go home and study, so I can be as great as an English-speaking citizen as she is.  She always corrects you when you say improper language.  This habit has apparently rubbed on me because I now do that.  I always want to be in Ms. Daley’s class, and I never want to miss it.  She shows you that school is not just sitting and having to memorize words and phrases.  She shows you how you would apply this to your life, and this has helped me many times.  She tells you that no matter how smart or how dumb you are you can always do it.  When I grow up, I want to be just like how she is.  I want to inspire a lot of people when I grow up.  I may not be in the education field, but that does not mean that I cannot inspire people.  She inspires people by her words and actions.

Ms. Daley has inspired people at my school and me for a long time.  She tries her best to get the best of us out, and she always does.  She shows me something new every day, and I always seem to like it.  Ms. Daley inspires me to do better each and every day of my life.  Since Ms. Daley is so inspirational, I know that one day I will be able to be like her.  Ms. Daley will always inspire me, even if I have to move onto higher levels of education.  She is one of the best teachers ever, and I will never forget her.”

Saint Joseph School has provided a supportive environment that has enabled our son, Robby, to thrive academically, spiritually, socially, and athletically. Our son’s experience at St. Joseph has been pivotal; the teachers and staff have helped build a strong foundation for him and his classmates to be successful in all aspects of their lives.

Our son, Robby, attended both private and public schools prior to Saint Joseph’s. St. Joseph has, by far, created the most nurturing environment that has enabled him to grow and succeed in all aspects of his life. The spiritual focus, reinforced by the teachers and staff, requires the students to be respectful and supportive of their peers.”

Thank you for your dedication and inspiration of Catholic values to our dear children. Our granddaughter, Katherine Grace Pacitti is in her second year at Saint Joseph. She has become a terrific reader and speller. Her recitation of the Morning Offering brings tears of awe and joy every time we hear it. We look forward to Katherine’s First Communion and brother Jacob starting Pre-K this fall.”

I love Saint Joseph School because we all feel like a big family. I like having tiny classes because it gets personal. We spend more time here than we do at home. I’m glad St. Joe’s was my home away from home. I know here I can be who I want to be. I don’t have to do anything I feel uncomfortable about. I am so glad to have grown up here in such a comfortable place.”

I love Saint Joseph School because of all the friends I’ve met. I also liked the art program. It was fun and Ms. Wiese was cool.”
Ali, 8th Grader 2007

I love Saint Joseph School because it challenges me academically. When I lived in California, I was never challenged to achieve my fullest potential. Then, when I moved to Florida two years ago, I was finally challenged. Though I’m a straight- A student, I receive work that challenges me to my fullest potential.”
Andrew, 8th Grader 2007

The moment that I most appreciated Saint Joseph School was when I first arrived. Everyone went out of their way to be nice and welcoming. Other schools that I attended were not like that. You had to impress some kids just to sit with them at lunch. I will cherish the moment I arrived at Saint Joseph Catholic School the rest of my life.”

I love Saint Joseph School because of all the good memories I’ve had with my classmates and teachers. Being an 8th grader, I’ve had a lot of time to think about my years at Saint Joseph-I’ve been here since Pre-K. My best memories were made during volleyball season. Coach Kolbe was such an amazing coach and taught me so much, not just about volleyball, but about life in general. She taught me to always try to be the better person in tough situations. She was always there for me when I needed her, and she was always available to give advice. She has made me a better person than I ever imagined I could be. She made volleyball season so much fun with all the cheers, drills, and games. If you ever made a mistake, she would say, “You’re okay, you’re fine. Just square your shoulders or hit on top of the ball.” She was always positive about everything. My best memory last season was when Coach Kolbe was teaching us a blocking drill. She said, “Jump straight up and clap hands above the net.” (She meant for us to clap hands with the girls on the other side of the net). My best friend, Jordan jumped up at the net and clapped her own hands together. We all cracked up-especially Jordan!”

I love Saint Joseph School because the dress code has improved throughout the years. I have experienced two inspiring teachers, Mrs. Potter and Mrs. Smith. They have helped me like to learn. I also love the athletic program. It has helped me in sports. The program gives everyone a chance to improve and play the sport they love the most.”
Alexis, 8th Grader

I love Saint Joseph School because of the morals and values the children receive.”
Hannah, 8th Grader 2007

I love Saint Joseph School because it helps us develop faith in God.”
Brittany, 8th Grader 2007

I love Saint Joseph School for many reasons. Here’s one: God has blessed us with some really wonderful students who always make us proud when we go out into the “real world” on field trips.”
Ms. Daley, Teacher

Nine years ago I cried to my parents because I didn’t want to start a new school; nine years later I’m crying because I don’t want to leave that same school. From Kindergarten through 8th grade, I’ve attended Saint Joseph School. My favorite part of our school is the guidance given to us while we’re growing up. In the last nine years I’ve become accustomed to teachers who care, small classes, and a place to freely learn about my faith. Without these elements in our school, most of us would not be the people we are today. St. Joseph School has given us examples of how to live faithfully. My classmates and I are now moving on to high school, which is where some say our fondest memories will be made. However, I know I will never forget the friends I’ve made, the things I’ve learned, and the memories I’ve shared at Saint Joseph Catholic School.”
Alexandra, 8th Grader 2007

I love Saint Joseph Catholic School because the students have a positive and respectful attitude toward one another. I also love that the school teaches faith formation, everyone is extremely close, and we have an excellent academic program.”
Ms. Kimberly Watchorn, School Secretary

I love Saint Joseph Catholic School because being surrounded by God’s precious children brings tranquility to my soul.”
Ms. Patty Thomas, First Grade Teaching Assistant

I love Saint Joseph Catholic School because not only my children, John, Michael, and Anna, have been blessed with many friendships, but also my husband and I. We have all made many friends that will be kept and cherished for the rest of our lifetime.”
Mrs. Kathleen Cucci, Parent and 2007 Auction Co- Chairperson

Saint Joseph is great. It has so many awesome things about it, and it’s where I’ve spent most of my life. Everyone here is so close---we know everyone. You don’t have to worry about being bullied or picked on, because we’re all one big happy family--- a big happy family that has dances, ice cream socials, tests, and spelling bees. Our big happy family also has a great faculty. I’m only two years away from high school and I already know how much I’ll miss Saint Joe’s.”
