St. Joseph Catholic School in Bradenton, Florida, has a tradition of inspiring faith and excellence in students for over 69 years. We offer a fully accredited, affordable, Catholic education for children of all faiths. As a Christian Elementary and Middle School, we have close to 300 students enrolled, grades PreK-3 through 8th grade, with a Free VPK program.

St. Joseph Catholic School hosted the 70th Anniversary "Heritage of Faithfulness" Gala on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the IMG Academy Golf Club.
Festivities for the evening included Live Music, Silent Auction, Photobooth, as well as an Awards Presentation. Dr. William and Karen Soscia were recognized as Honorary Chairs; James and Marla Doss were presented the Soaring Eagle Award; Angelina "Angel" Colonneso, Esq received the Outstanding Alumni Award; and the Class of 2002 were recognized as the Top Alumni class with donations and attendees. SJCS appreciates our Sponsors, Volunteers, and Supporters for making this event a success. It truly was a memorable evening, celebrating the history and future of Catholic Education in Manatee County.

Our Jr. Thespians qualified to compete in nine performances at the State Level in Orlando. This was an amazing experience for our students and they all came away with rating awards of Excellent!

We would like to thank our choir, altar servers, and SJCS students for helping to celebrate Mass for Ash Wednesday.
Tuesday, we hosted a Mardi Gras Parade in the courtyard. Check out these fun photos of hand-held floats created by our SJCS students, as well as students in festive beads, masks, and crowns.

In honor of All Saints' Day, St. Joseph Catholic School's fourth and fifth graders researched the life of a saint, assembled costumes to dress as that saint, and led a procession into Mass.
SJCS had an AMAZING turnout at this year's Trunk or Treat Event.
We are excited to share that we have now surpassed $35,000 in donations for the 2023 SJCS EAGLE RUN!
Our students did an amazing job creating various projects that included brochures, dioramas, Piñatas, and flags for Hispanic Heritage Month.
